The City of Burlington’s Early Learning Initiative was founded in 2017 to help all Burlingtonians access high-quality, affordable childcare for our youngest residents (0-3 years old).
Who We Are
The City of Burlington’s Early Learning Initiative (ELI) is one of the few programs in the country focusing on high-quality early child care for infants and toddlers. ELI seeks to grow the number of available child care spaces within the City and expand access for low-income Burlington families.

Provider Resources
We offer grant funding and training to support Burlington child care providers in creating and expanding their high-quality infant and toddler child care spaces.
